Friends, favoured shops, assorted strangers still very much at risk.

I have friends who live and work far closer to that mess.

Why do they let them blockade things for this long? Whenever Extinction Rebellion or other climate groups blockade road traffic for attention they get removed quickly, you still get all these screeds by drivers about how annoying they are, and they end up arrested. I understand that right wing protesters often profit from a double standard, but this seems egregious?

My thought too. They can kettle and arrest and haul off us, but not white supremacists?

I'm trying a different anti-anxiety drug, and who boy. I think I'm going to need to chop these in half, because I am *stoned*. Time to watch Doctor Who!

My husband's baby brother C and his longtime girlfriend got married today. According to my mother in law they made faces at each other during their vows to make the other person laugh. C says it was a pact so neither one would cry. The ceremony itself was a very limited courthouse affair. I attended dinner at a local place afterwards with the rest of family and a few friends.

After being together for a decade, they decided to get married twelve days ago.
