Ug, Covid. :(

I got it on the ninth of Jan, went back to work on the 20th (as a massage therapist) and I still have no energy (physically speaking) and I'm just tired of being fucking tired.

Otherwise things are okay-ish. Just...blurg at things not getting done becaus work takes so much out of me now.

What sucks is everyon in the collective is affected. Usually when one of us is energy-defficient another can make up for it. ... not this time. :(

The body is also totally blind and anxiety is a thing. Which means when something piles up, we wantto do it less because it just seems so...so damn big, y'know?

Thank you for the sympathies, they really are appreciated.

And I totally understand too how during this pandemic era if one worker is exhausted the others are also. Where I work we are covering both our own usual work and that of co-workers who are out with COVID -- about 20% of staff out on any given day since the Omicron variant.

Yah, but *we* aren't! You would think that in a plural context it would be different. Obviously not. :(

I suppose it makes sense, though in a way. It takes more energy to keep the body on its feet than it would normally, so therefore...

*anoyed slightly*

Thank you. <3 {{{hugs back and leans on a little}}}

I keep having to remind myself to be gentle with me. It's not even been three weeks since going back to work, and the anxiety is already real that I'm not back to pre-Covid energy levels. >.>

Sorry to hear you had Covid. Sympathies on the long drained phase afterward.

I'm glad you're still with us.

:) <3 Thank you.

...

Now if I could just convince my brain weasles to shut up, that would be peachy.

The anxiety is real that my energy is going to stay this way For-evarz OMG, and that I eon't be able to do my job at pre-Covid levels.

I have to remind myself on the regular that it's OK to not be completely OK right now.

I am increasingly convinced that Trump sees Canada as Putin sees Ukraine: a Bad Example to be squashed ASAP lest we give the citizens of the Great Power they each seek to regain/maintain control over Ideas about better self-governance.
