This week's been weird.

Slow, and fast all at once. Both games stalled out by various 9issues, and I just...WTF, multiverse?

If it keeps up I'ma be more disappointed than I already am. It's just been a weird week. I just wish the weirdness weren't so interesting in the Cinese sense. >.>

This week has felt really weird, yeah. Very wibbly-wobbly timey-wimey.

*looks for my sonic screwdriver*

Admittedly, the last Doctor I paid attention to was David Tennant, I've been out of the fandom for a hot minute, but yes.

Yeah, same here, but still definitely one.

I live in the house with Whovians. It's impossible not to be when you live with those who aren't afraid to watch it in common reas.

At the risk of sounding like the "Wearing a mask is admitting you're scared!" idiots out there...(as if the virus will back off in the face of those people!) I just COULD NOT HANDLE doing the 'washing of the groceries' this week. We've been doing it for several weeks but I just couldn't. It's hard enough to get all the shopping done in a day for what we need for the week and then have to handle everything even more.

I rinse the produce. The rest, our hands get washed anyway. And the damn virus doesn't last forever on things.

And then my youngest reminded me that this year, her high school's graduating choir members won't get to sing the traditional "True Colors" in support of each other and their teacher, whom they love so much. I BURST into tears over kids I don't even know.

SO. MUCH. LOST.

I think there's a difference between acknowledging things have been lost in the lockdown and being sad for those things, as well as being overwhelmed by the need for more intensive hygienic practices, and being one of those "wearing a mask is admitting you're scared" idiots. I'm high-risk and I live with two essential workers so every day I worry about getting it, and I *still* think that it's OK to be feeling sad that you can't do the things you used to be able to do, and it's OK to feel overwhelmed by all the everything that we have to do now. There's a difference between feeling sad and missing things, and insisting everything get back to normal right now while the virus is still out there.

So you're OK. I'm not sitting here thinking "omg stop whining".

Thank you so much. That helps a lot. :)

And I hope your essential worker roomies are of course as careful as they can be, and I'm sure they are. Hang in there. :)
