Two days in a row with a max temp of 43.3°C, and I am an unhappy mouse. People, talk to me of colder climes, and what the weather is doing.

We're chilly off and on here. I think the weather in Texas is drunk.

I hear you on drunk weather --I think our weather has been on a year long bender. We got decent rain in March, a cyclone further south than expected in April, rain throughout harvest in October/November, and now ridiculous temps.

What counts as chilly in Texas? My guess would be similar to here, but I can't do the °C to °F conversion off the top of my head right now.

It was 72F, 22C yesterday with a 34mph wind. By next Sat the low will be -11C. Probably no snow because we're having this nasty drought. :(

22C is a very civilised temperature, especially in winter. Negative values of any description though *shudders*. I hear you on droughts. Had not ever occurred to me that that also affected snowfall!

You don't think about it, but yeah, definitely affects snow. And it really sucks to be freezing your ass off with no snow to show for it.

We had snow on the 24th. Temperatures cold enough to stay frozen until today. I'm wearing wool and multiple layers.

*shivers delightedly* snow! And still frozen.

Mind you, the Canadian family were reporting -27, which I'm assuming is °C, but didn't actually think to check. But that is well beyond what I want to think about.
