All 3 of us got boosters today. YAY! I decided not to get the flu shot at the same time, in the hopes that I won't have a reaction that will cause problems for Thanksgiving.

So far so good, but my right calf muscle just started to cramp up for no particular reason ...

I got my flu shot and booster 5 days apart, and had no complications.

Temporarily upgrading to "lives with more than one other human" as we have our two eldest grands for the first half of their thanksgiving break because it's massively cheaper for their dad to drive two hours one way, out of state, and buy us some groceries than to pay his bio mom the outrageous "child care" rates she demands (esp since her idea of 'care' is to maybe remember to feed them lunch and ignore them all else)

Mind you, I *adamantly* believe child care deserves to be compensated. I'm also deeply furious that my son-by-ritual (long story) is working FT+ at twice federal minimum wage in The Deep South (known for the great sucking sound that is dirt cheap cost of living compared to literally everywhere else) and STILL CAN'T MAKE ENDS MEET without falling back on my&my wife's soft hearts any time the boys are out of school and he has to find a solution for them being watched while he's at work. So, like, yeah, going through a lot. Without a working television.
