Brain weasels are all up in a lather because I had to juggle between what we need right now and what can wait until the next time one of us gets paid and the kittens have been playing HIGH SPEED CHASE all through the office, which hasn't helped my nerves at all. Going to ... try to throw a couple sentences at some fiction and then go to bed early because yeah, nerves are completely shot.

it was a good plan ... that ran afoul of sudden energy collapse and then the sleep was terrible ... but I have coffee and am about to make comfort food for lunch and several of the cats have realized the errors of their ways ... or at least are peacefully snuggling together on my bed despite trying to tell me they hated each other this morning at breakfast. XD
