It's been a good day. One of my room mates was at work, so the other one and I got to chill out while cleaning most of the day, and got a helluva lot of shit cleared/cleaned up between us )Conversations/the house) and then we watched the Frozen movies while we had ordered in food, and it was just generally awesome.

...

I mean, because we went over the gift card from Uber Eats I had to pay the difference, but it was still awesome, and we still have enough for a snack for game tonight+lunch tomorrow, so no regrets here.

...

Still waiting on stimulous, but ya'know, what else is new? LOL

If you haven't had luck finding an IRS number to get through to someone there that can help, you might try SSA, because they seem to have enough people on the phones they aren't overwhelmed like some Unemployment lines.

I'm hoping since my caseworker helped me sign up through the IRRS site that'll help some, but we'll see where it goes.

However, calling the SSA isn't a bad thought, either.

Caseworker!

Have you followed any of the stuff about braille outputs made of LEGO? (I have no idea what the parts list would run, and right now the previously loved market is shut tighter than a tupperware.)

Yeah, a bit. I also heard they were going to put either braille or audio directions in to help kids build them, but I've not found a set (Nor have I looked, actually) that advertises such yet.

Yep, caseworker, I'm actually glad I did that. Now I can not stress about whether or not it'll get here: It'll just be a matter of *when* not *if*.

There are actually a few different LEGO and the blind things. There are the blocks that have studs to teach braille, there are the sets with instructions not dependent on pictures as you mentioned. There was also a braille output device that uses LEGO parts to be more economically than the usual machines. (Sorta on the same theory that led labs to build some frames out of LEGO because they could do it themselves and the machined frames were too expensive.)

When is better than if.

I forgot about the studded blocks. The other two things I kinda knew about.

Did you ever see the article about how someone mad a braille emboisser out of legos? I thought tat was kinda cool.

I'm feeling demoralized by the sense that there's no end in sight.

I've reached the point where my general sense of unease now counts as 'I'm okay' rather than 'I am not okay, but I don't need help'. I .. think this is progress?
