It's a sign of how things are since Ida that, even though we weren't on the main track of the storm, the groceries are short on food. The smaller local one I visited yesterday had many empty shelves -- no deliveries that day. Today, at the larger one, most packaged foods were there, and the bakery was doing well, but there were gaps in fresh veggies and fruits.
