V. sleepy today so I didn't do much- boiled some more fabric for whenever I start the next group. Went out in the back yard & saw a blue jay happily taking off with a cashew nut I'd put on a table.

I hardly ever see them, but I think now two are nesting in a neighbor's tree- so I hope the nut went to a hungry baby.

I have therapy today. Normally I'd be okay with this, but I'm so emotionaly burnt out that just thinking about it makes my anxiety go even more "Nooooo" off thescales of one to 100 or something.

Thankfully my therapist is a good one, so that helps it level out...even if it's only marginally.

I miss a squish friend of mine in WA state, and I haven't heard from her in forever. She's immunocompromised, and so I worry for her.

I keep going back to the memory of her and I cuddling on one of the first times we met, and it helps, but it's still bitterseweet because of the missing her bit.
