I am finding I have to ration how much time I spend in online classes or Second Life, because it takes too much out of me. SL doesn't generally do that -- or I can control how much -- but I had a 2-hour workshop before I went on, and I feel wrung out, even though I had a good sleep last night.

Maybe it's the COVID dreams - for me, like parts of movies without the dialogue, but not as well done as actual silent movies so I would know what's happening. I don't know why Anne Archer and Michael Douglas were arguing about their daughter, Anne Hathaway, who was a surgeon. I don't know what the older couple -- Jack Warden and the actress who played Edith Bunker -- were talking about in the kitchen while bulldozers took out the old shopping plaza behind their house. Maybe too much like real life -- so much I don't know, and some is overwhelming.

Whew. Just finished a big batch of face masks. Think I need to take a break from that to do other things. I was determined to make enough to be worth using a flat rate medium priority box and I did. 44 masks will go to a family health center.

I was starting to dream about sewing-- yes, time for a break. ;^)

I clicked on 'i could use some help', but I have no idea what would help. School starting would do it, but ain't nobody on dw can help with that.

I had to organise getting a death notification form for my mother, which I can post in to the registration office, as opposed to bringing it in person. I'm very glad I know the doctor a long time, as I have had quite enough of blubbing at total strangers on the phone :-(

ETA: Cheering things happened too - the doctor told me about his charming new baby, and I got out for a walk in the sunshine. And I have been cooking gourmet dinners for my cat.

You complained yesterday about your cat being super-clingy, but I wonder if she's doing her best to provide grief counseling. Purrs for healing!

She definitely knows that all is not well - and is upset herself. She likes to check that she knows where I am at all times, and then the purring begins!
