Estou com sinusite e otite, de molho em casa por no mínimo 7 dias. Cansada física e mentalmente, principalmente por causa da minha mãe. A gente não consegue se acertar nunca.

I could use help, but I'm not really asking this time. I got generous help the last time.

We're facing having our electricity cut off tomorrow. Basically, my partner, Auntie Iron (an Air Force vet from Desert Storm), was trying to work with the Veterans' Assistance Commission in our area for utility assistance. They forced her to produce a lot of paperwork, make a lot of office visits (we have no working transportation, so this was difficult), and a lot of phone calls that were mostly phone tag, and then ghosted us with zero assistance. Now that the winter moratorium for cutting off electricity is lifted, ComEd wants its money to the tune of $800 by tomorrow. We've been working on borrowing it and have it down to $400. But I don't know if they will negotiate.

If they cut us off, we will lose most of our food, our contact with the outside world through the internet and charging our phones, and my medicine in the fridge will go bad in just a few days.

But I have been working on a project, and I'm trying to link up to a Ko-Fi account. I'm trying to sell stickers and trinkets with pictures of my lovely cat, Wilbur. It's just that the site I'm using is being a bit obtuse in setting up the financial end. If I can get that going, I am hoping the Ko-Fi will be able to accept donations or allow a helpful person to buy cheap trinkets with my adorable Wilbur on them.
