Within the last four weeks I have lost one friend or relative each week. A teacher, an encourager, a friend and now the last remaining aunt on my father's side of the family. (Well, the last one who's sane; there's another but she's iffy on the best days.) I'm feeling a bit emotionally battered by all of this.
