"Not okay" because the State of Things has revved my anxiety & depression to high levels. I'm off news for Shabbat, I hope it helps me reach a better equilibrium.

"Not okay" because of things a lot closer to home tonight. Also trying to network closer to home for the kinds of help I need right now.

Today my uncle went into the hospital for emergency surgery, my best friend got laid off, and the president tested positive for covid.

Then I took a long anxiety nap and my uncle came through the surgery, my friend has decided she's possibly glad to dump the job, and the president is in the hospital. So it was better after the nap!
