The central heating in my building has been having trouble since the start of the weekend and annoyingly still nothing has happened even though it's now Monday night. I'm pretty sure it just needs the circulating water topped up (periodically there's been water loss for years, but it's an intermittent problem, sometimes fine for months then not and afaik the underlying cause has remained unclear), as the warm water thankfully still works and also my downstairs neighbors don't (yet) have issues with their radiators.

So far all I've gotten is an auto reply to my complaint email. As night time lows are still just above freezing I'd rather like my radiators to get fully warm, not mostly just gurgling.

Doing a short contract with ex-employer, and realising that even without the deciding reason for leaving, I'm so glad I'm not here 'forever' any more. AAAAARGH

Unfortunately still not, and not fixed either. I couldn't bring myself to try the phone call route (a rather last resort thing as I dislike them), but have sent a second email. Sigh.

At least temps are forecast to rise. That it's not that bad timing as far as heating problems go hasn't helped push my motivation to apply more pressure over the phone shaped hump...

Yikes. Having an end in sight definitely helps to cope. I hope it's at least well compensated.

It was well compensated, and actually, once I got in to the work, it was fine. It was just little things like not having a login so I could do my job for a week!

No. It's just summer now.
