I'm very upset because two of my college-age cousins suddenly decided to visit my parents (who are in their 70s). It's not like my cousins visit my parents frequently or anything. I've been agonizing whether to visit my parents in the fall or not. But they pick NOW of all times to go. One is flying in from Milwaukee and the other has been living with a group of her friends all summer. It seems completely irresponsible to me. I would never decide to travel to go visit an elderly aunt/cousin/etc. right now.

I entirely understand that. I'm blaming the weather, hormones, the current situation, and deadlines. I never want to have to be an adult again.
