Does anyone have any experience of trigeminal neuralgia, particularly atypical types.

I have a pain in my face and head from my lower jaw to the top of my head, from the middle of my face to the middle of the back of my head which may or may not be trigeminal neuralgia. My doctor has given me a drug called Tegretal (Carbamazepine).
