migraine day i don't remember anymore e_e hate this time of year

My sister texted me that she's now sick, because she had to be on a flight for the first business trip her company insisted she go on (before covid she had to travel all the time but then switched to remote with clients) and somebody on the plane was quite sick and coughing but didn't mask. She wore a FFP2 mask the whole time but that wasn't enough.

Why do people suck so much? Anyway, wish my sister luck.

People can be so awfully irresponsible. Good luck to your sister; I hope she recovers soon.

Thanks. She did everything she could not to be infected (well short of quitting her job, I guess), and is now feeling really sick, just because someone couldn't be bothered enough to wear a mask while sick in an enclosed space. It's infuriating. >:(

She went to the doctor this morning because she was feeling so awful, and apparently it's influenza not Covid, so I guess there's at least somewhat lower chances of long term complications, but still.

I'm so angry at these people, who don't even take care when they are symptomatically sick. Like (symptomatic) Typhoid Marys, only worse, as wearing at least a mask on transport wouldn't even loose them employment.
