A good friend of mine has worrying symptoms, so this day seems worse than yesterday. I'm holding up okay--no real hardship, and I'm used to being mostly alone--but I have to acknowledge that the stress is getting to me in weird, subtle ways.

No will to do anything. No willpower either. No focus. Just zombie-ing through the day. I hope tomorrow will be better. The vicissitudes of mood and good news/bad news are unsettling.

Thank you for a good reminder. I spent years in trauma therapy battling depression, too, and I should have been quicker to remember the endo/exo difference. This stuff is exogenous (though of course there's always the danger of that seeping in and triggering the endogenous kind).

Walking is my salvation right now. Normally it would be riding my bike, but I have nowhere much to go and I've never been one to ride just for leisure--it's always been transportation. But walking? Most natural and real thing in the world.
