This week is already a mess - between SIL begging us to keep the grands for the whole week cuz his usual child care arrangements abruptly fell thru and then a shooting across the street (where a Black family lives) this morning that had a whole bunch of (white, male) cops milling around for most of the afternoon, including a couple good ol' boys in plain clothes (twitch, twitch), today was ... a lot. Once again, I'm wishing it was legal to Instacart hard liquor. :p

(I'm not really okay but I don't know that I need help either but don't not need help? My head's still a bit of a mess AND I have to get up early tomorrow in case the FedEx delivery we're expecting and have to sign for actually does arrive at the start of the day (unlikely, but they run trucks on a couple windows, so it *could* happen) and just...ugh. Lots of ugh.)
