Woke up today to discover the cats had smashed the shit out of our television. Things never really got better from there, though I did at least finally get the lawn half mowed (it's a two day process for me) and a second planting of okra in the ground before the rains came in. One small win in a week of fails and oh look, now it's rainy and COLD and I had to turn the HEAT back on. I need a hug. And chocolate. Rum would be nice, but the law's against it. :p

yeah, this was a relatively small flat-panel (I want to say 36"?), so not hard for the cats to knock over while roughhousing. e_e They aren't supposed to go near it, but when we're sleeping, the boys can be (not so) little shits. We'll get it replaced eventually (another pain, but they smashed the shit out of the screen, so repair is a non-starter), but in the mean time ... considering adding mocha syrup to the hot chocolate I'm about to make cuz chocolate, goddammit.
