I am not OK because I cut my right index finger washing dishes to get ready to make dinner. Dirk made an Executive Jewish Decision that pasta swelling up in water does NOT count as "leavening", take *that* traditional rabbis, so he defrosted some of my spaghetti sauce & we had it for dinner.

Fortunately the slice doesn't seem to have been too deep to stop bleeding on its own, so no ER adventures were had. I'll just make sure to cover the bandages with a plastic bag when i shower tonight.

There's pasta that's kosher l'pesach and pasta that is not kosher l'pesach. It's not whether or not pasta swells up in water, it's whether or not the particular pasta contains ingredients that are chametz. That being said, health and wellness take precedence, so Dirk did make the right decision based on your injury.
