Today I travelled from the Midwest to LA to attend the Escapade con. Escapade was the last pre-pandemic con I attended. That was February 2020. I'm not feeling the travel excitement I used to feel -- I think something got "broken" in me during the pandemic.

I tried going on a new anti-anxiety/depression med and it went badly. I'm off it now but have to give it a few days to normalize and get back on my old one. The GI side effects were truly awful.

I sswear to all the holy/unholy gods if today is anything like the last too working days, I'ma throw up my hands and scream to whomever will fucking listen.

Tuesday wasn't bad, just lazy, but Monday/yesterday sucked ass royally.

Between transportation snafu's on both Monday and yesterday morning, and being left completely alone in my work place (Thankfully nothing was stolen while my totally blind ass was in there) for an hur and 20 minutes, it sucked enough for me to take an uber home, even though I had not the funds for it.

...

Then, because I misunderstood ebay's bid system (I should've gone up a dollar or two, I lost one of the first three auctions I've ever bid on, after spending about half an hour lusting over the item's description. :(

I thin,k what gets me the most about that is I seriously though I'd won it, until the email said differently, and I about cried.

Not because I lost it, but because of the *way* I lost it, and it was kind of a last straw on camel's back situation. One too many things all at once, and *crack* :(
