The amount of respiratory infections right now is staggering. I was just in the grocery store and there were so many coughing yet unmasked people.

I really wish people would at least try to contain their germs while obviously sick. Walking around while coughing (and near groceries no less) just seems so anti-social to me.

I can sort of understand not wanting to wear one while healthy and not particularly vulnerable (if there weren't as many obvious plague vectors walking around I might not cling to my FFP2 one quite as persistently either), but why spread sickness?? These can't all be internet brain-wormed anti-maskers either, because on public transport where medical masks are still required here, most people are wearing them, like more than 75% at least. It's so frustrating.
