Date: 2022-05-22 02:24 pm (UTC)So far so good -- lots of the right wing arsehats lost their seats, we have a prime minister who might actually understand The People more than the last one did. And at a personal level, we have lost our unpleasant incumbent. I'm cautiously optimistic about the replacement, because it turns out that they are an ex-cop, but not-white, so maybe they won't have some of the standard cop prejudices?
