It's been raining/snowing almost non-stop for the past several days with a lot of precipitation the past two weeks, so the drainage in our area has reached oversaturation, which means our weeping tiles can't drain to the city drainage anymore and thus are coming into the basement. Family brought a pump, but it failed this afternoon as it's been pumping almost nonstop, so now to alternate measures (perhaps another pump?). Regardless, fingers crossed that it stops raining/snowing soon (and yes, we will be installing a sump pump as soon as possible; thankfully we replaced the back-up valve earlier this spring--we've never had water in the basement as a problem before in over ten years here).

Hopefully others aren't dealing with water problems!

During online D&D this evening I managed to break the second favored mug in as many months and dump a large cup of ice water all over my desk, floor, and myself while trying to clean up the mug. \o/ Game got paused for 30/45 mins while I cleaned up and got enough of the office put back together I could resume my place at the desk.

The mug alas broke into too many bits to fix for other purposes. The previous broken mug can still be used for a paint cup.
