Fun news!

In previous years, over the Memorial Day weekend, some fandom friends have gotten together to visit... food, adult beverages, watching shows and lots of laughter. This year, reality and isolation meant we really couldn't get together.

But we're making do. We meet on Google Meet for breakfast. Take a break for lunch. Go back on Google Meet for mid-afternoons. Take a break for dinner. Go on Zoom to watch a show and talk some more (and have those adult beverages!) It's not as good as being there, but lots of time spent together is fun!

I've been away from the states long enough that Memorial Day (and Labor Day) weekend always takes me by surprise. I don't recall my family having any special traditions or whatever, so.

I'm getting by on a day by day basis. Not doing great. Daily suicide ideation has returned this year. Some days it's easily dismissed. Others it takes more effort.

Anyway. I'm here. I'm queer. I'm staying home.
