I had not realized this before, but the federal (USA) program to deliver free test kits straight to your home actually has TWO rounds. People who already ordered a set of four tests can can place another order.

For anyone who lives in a multi-unit building: at least in the first round, the database treats the "*Street Address / PO Box" line as the ID number for each household. So if you live in an apartment building, put your apartment number in with the street address, as in "123 Sesame St. Apt. B". That way it will count your apartment as separate from apartments A and C.

So it's still bad here. And in my head. But today, with local assistance, I was able to get the most vital supplies - bottled water, cat food, and meds. With the same person's assistance (it's her job, mind, but given that everyone is in need of stuff, I'm sure she's stupid busy), I got some mini-apps on my phone that I can use to order food. Sadly, one of them was sold out on everything I wanted/needed, another gives me an error every time I try to check out (and they didn't have half of what I need), but the third (of three) seems to have worked.

I'll know for sure if it worked tomorrow afternoon when I go to the gate to pick up my order. Maybe by then I'll get the recalcitrant cart on the other mini-app to work so I can get the ingredients to make bread, since none of the apps has it in stock.

Anyway. Hi.

I'm so glad you're getting help on the ground, there. On the one hand, your situation is often oppressive; on the other hand, the government there actually takes "millions of citizen deaths" as something worth great, ongoing efforts to prevent.

Glad to hear you're still with us.

It is hard, and it is scary, and it has been a long time. We are all doing well to just still be here.
