We are negotiating with some of our friends to maybe allow non-distanced household visits, and I'm finding the whole thing incredibly stressful. We've barely managed to work out something that the three of us living together here can agree on; trying to get six people into agreement is driving me crazy.

I had to go to the office today for the first time in eight weeks. I think I've forgotten how to leave home on a schedule, because I definitely goofed on how long it takes to get ready and out the door. On the upside, I wasn't late, and I don't have to go back again until next week.

I found out that an old friend died, someone I've known for 30 years, and even though it hasn't hit emotionally yet, I am seeing this hole in the world where someone kind and generous and fun should be, and isn't. And it hurts that I can't visit his family or do anything except phone.

I can empathise on that. Partner went in to the office today for the first time in about eight weeks, but went to the dentist on the way. Which meant I started with 'oh, plenty of time to get ready' and ended up at 'aargh', and started work Rather Late. I had not realised how much I have been pegging getting ready in the morning to the movement of others around me.

Does anyone have a favorite cloth mask pattern, either to make or wear? I wanted to make some more in preparation for going back to work, but I though it might be nice to get some more variety.

(Currently I have some fitted ones that are great filters but complicated to put on and harder to breathe through, and some flat pleated ones that are easy to wear and breathe but constantly feel like they're going to fall off and need messing with.)
