The Absolute History channel on youtube has a lot of BBC documentary series. Several of them are a group of historians talking about farm work in different periods. They've got Tudor, Victorian, Edwardian, WWII, and one called "Secrets of the Castle" that's about the Guédelon castle experimental archeology project (that they do in historic dress because they're nerds).

There is the occasional bit of "Britain is the best", but they're mostly focused on the realities of farm work in the applicable era.
