I have a long dentist appointment this afternoon to get a crown for my molar that a piece broke off of a while back. Today the remaining tooth will be ground down, molds made, and something temporary installed, so it's the long and unpleasant part. Fingers crossed that it'll all work as planned and that the temporary works for the two weeks it has to hold. Right now the broken tooth is just temperature sensitive but doesn't hurt and I hope it won't feel worse after.

Thank you. The appointment went well though the local hasn't worn off yet, so I don't know how it'll feel.

I was told to expect some pain because they had to trim the gums back a little to get to everything. Hopefully that'll resolve in a day or so. Mostly my teeth and gums overall tend to be fine with dental stuff and only hurt briefly, but once a few years back it decided to just continue to hurt for months on end after some minor dental procedure for no good reason. That lead to one of these unfortunate situations where you tell a doctor it still hurts, they keep not finding anything wrong and then finally suggest it's maybe all in your head... so that wasn't great. Thankfully it went away eventually, but ever since I'm kind of wary.

Progress was made on CPAP financial support paperwork and housekeeping in general yesterday. Also, getting new leads on possible employment.

So, not panicking right now.

Thanks! The tooth itself seems pretty okay, though strangely the teeth above hurt a bit. Maybe the gums there have been irritated by all the mold taking or something. Bodies are just consistently annoying. Fingers crossed that it'll all calm down.
