Whew. I got an error message after I hit post, and was afraid I'd have to do it all again. But yay, it posted!

Today I learned that there exist more Mae West movies than I have yet seen, which is cheering news.

I caught a cold almost two weeks ago, and I am still snuffling occasionally. Which means that I can't go anywhere -- it feels really freaking rude to walk into a shop, even with a mask on, when they can't possibly know that I've tested negative for Covid multiple times since this came on.

For all I know, my symptoms might just be allergies, considering the local fires. But I can't tell! So I stay home.

I just put in my first grocery delivery order in months, and I am not liking the deja vu.

I'm getting ready to start making grocery delivery orders again. Picking my own produce was bizarrely thrilling while it lasted.

I wish all people would follow that. Or at least not pull down their mask to cough when they are in stores. I find that behavior so incomprehensible, more than people not following mask mandates.

I can only assume that their cough is bad enough they fear having to wear grossness on their face, but even then you'd think it would occur to pack a backup mask and just cough into the thing and then change it if necessary.
