For reasons some of you know from the news this past week, Canada Day 154 has not been a time of pure joy. Nor should it have been. We have work yet to do.

Being able to take part in an online Kaddish minyan really helps me keep going. Today I was hot and everything was running late, but I was able to part in a corner of the Costco lot and say Kaddish with a group of fellow mourners.

And then it rained and got cooler.
