Tried the thing where you put frozen banana slices in the blender, with cocoa powder or strawberries, puree, then re-freeze to make a non-fat, not-dairy ice cream substitute.

It is good, but turns out moderation is still called for.

Hadn't heard of that. But I can see how you still may not want to overindulge.

Babe, the younger cat, has apparently decided to live. She's started cleaning her fur again (it was a mess and she wouldn't let people touch her), and she's eating a little more. But she's also starting to regain her cat attitude -- jumping up on the sink, eating out of Jennypaws' bowl. She's put on a few ounces -- she no longer looks like a skeleton with fur draped over it. I'm really glad about this.

If you like bananas, a frozen banana can be eaten like a popsicle. I cut them in half, wrap in waxed paper, store in a plastic freezer. Satisfyingly sweet and crunchy.
